By omitting the light colors, the printer will use less ink to produce the same picture and thus it will reduce the overall ink usage. Actually the R2000 does NOT have light colors and still can produce nice shades of the lighter colors. The variable droplet technology of Epson printhead omits the need of using light/photo colors. The advantages of this setup is Obvious: combining the nice gloss and vivid colors of the R2000 with the neutral ABW mode of the R3000 and having both blacks (matte and photo) loaded at the same time. Ink channel 8: orange-red (tone between orange and red) Ink channel 4: medium gray (tone between Light black and Light Light Black) By purchasing this software you will not have access to Accurip or any other affiliated products. The reason is that I want to change the ink configuration to make a cross-breed R2000 x R3000 with the following ink configuration: Epson 7890/9890 Epson p5000 Epson 4900 Epson 4800, 7800, 9800 Epson 4000, 7600, 9600 t3170x for mac or pc t3270, t5270, t7270 mac and pc Please note we are not affiliated with Accurip, Freehand Graphics or Software for Screen Printers. I am not sure someone can help me: I have read there are free RIP software (Gutenberg/GutenRIP) available to drive my Epson R3000.
